The first step

Coming home starts with a safe place

Whether you're coming home from prison or jail or need somewhere safe while you get back on your feet, the first step is the same.

A clean, secure room. A household with clear expectations. People who believe in second chances. From there, you can focus on work, documents, appointments, family, and the routines that lead to stable, independent living.

For families

Helping someone come home?

If someone you love is preparing for release, you can start the application for them. Gather what you can, and we'll help with the rest.

  1. Gather what you can

Their full name and date of birth, the facility and TDCJ or ID number, the projected release date, and the parole officer's name and phone, if known.

  2. Start the application

Choose "A family member or friend" in the first step, and add your own phone number so we can reach you.

  3. We follow up

We'll reach out to talk about the situation, fees, and move-in requirements.
